Glossary
CRM (Customer Relationship Management)
Software that tracks customer and prospect data, deals, activities, and pipeline — e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot.
Full definition
CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software is the system of record for customer and prospect data in a sales organization. Major platforms include Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, and Pipedrive. CRMs track contacts, accounts, opportunities, activities, and pipeline. A common pain point is CRM hygiene — reps don't reliably log call notes or update deal stages. Parallax and other real-time coaching tools can auto-populate CRM records from structured call output.
